The Sulzbach valleys in Neukirchen am Großvenediger have been a "World Wilderness Area" since 2017. Wilderness Area means that the designated area is and remains primarily characterized by natural processes and free from human intervention. This means that the flora and fauna are protected and preserved as unspoiled as possible.
